CLERK’S NOTICE OF REVISION PERIOD OF THE VOTERS’ LIST FOR THE 2010 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
NOTICE is hereby given that in compliance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, the Voters’ List of Persons Entitled to Vote in the 2010 Municipal Election will be available for viewing in the Town Clerk’s Office, 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood from Wednesday, September 1st to October 25th, 2010 during normal office hours.
ALL Electors are encouraged to examine the Voters’ List to ensure that their names and relevant information are correctly shown. Voters will also be able to confirm if their name is on the Voters’ List by accessing the Town website www.collingwood.ca/election2010 effective September 1st to October 25th, 2010. To add or revise information please contact the Clerk’s Office at (705) 445-1030 ext. 3230 or by email at bdahl@collingwood.ca. Revisions to the Voters’ List can also be made at the Collingwood Library on September 10, 2010 between 4:30pm and 8:00pm.
ELECTION KEY DATES
September 7, 2010 to October 25, 2010 Revisions to voters’ list
September 7, 2010 to September 10, 2010 Application to remove another elector’s name from the list
October 1, 2010 Vote-by-mail Kits mailed to all persons on the voters’ list including revisions made prior to September 15, 2010
October 16, 2010 Last date to mail the completed Vote-by-law ballot envelope to ensure it will be counted, after that date please return directly to the Clerk’s Office.
October 25, 2010 (10:00 am to 8:00 pm) Election Day
September 7, 2010 to October 25, 2010 Revisions to voters’ list
