An outside firm reviews the Town's financial statements on an annual basis to ensure accuracy. Included in the audit are a consolidated balance sheet, statement of operations and cash flow documents.

Performance Measures (MPMP)
Each year the Province of Ontario releases Performance Measures documents for municipalities across Ontario. The information includes aggregated property assessments, efficiency and effectiveness measurements.
Financial Information Return (FIR)
An annual document from the Minsitry of Municipal Affairs that breaks down revenue and taxation information filed by the Town's Treasurer. It also includes long term financial commitments and statistical information.

Service Improvements
Each year the Town provides notice to the public of improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of services by the municipality and its local boards along with barriers identified by the municipality and its local boards to achieving improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of services by them.
