Summary:
BEING A BY-LAW TO ASSUME PORTIONS OF MADELINE DRIVE AND RON EMO ROAD AS A HIGHWAY FOR PUBLIC USE
NOTICE:

AND WHEREAS the construction of Ron Emo Road, a highway within the Industrial Park located in the east end of Collingwood is complete;
AND WHEREAS By-law No. 04-97 being a by-law to assume Madeline Drive for public use and dedicated as highways in the Town of Collingwood, was enacted and passed November 15, 2004;
AND WHEREAS Parts 11and 12 of Reference Plan 51R-37002 have been conveyed to the Town of Collingwood for road allowance enhancements, a condition of the Town of Collingwood Committee of Adjustment consent approval for Consent No. B-08/08;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it necessary to assume Parts 11 and 12 of Reference Plan 51R-37002 and Ron Emo Road for public use and be dedicated as highways;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF COLLINGWOOD HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the lands hereinafter described and as identified on Schedule “A” attached hereto be assumed for public use and dedicated as highways in the Town of Collingwood;

Ron Emo Road between Raglan Street and Sandford Fleming Drive

A portion of Madeline Drive legally described as Parts 11 and 12 of Reference Plan 51R-37002, Town of Collingwood, County of Simcoe
2. THAT Parts 11 and 12 of Reference Plan 51R-37002 be merged with Madeline Drive (PIN 582560108) pursuant to section 31(6) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001 c. 25;
3. THAT this By-law shall come into full force and effect on the date of final passage hereof at which time all By-laws and/or resolutions that are inconsistent with the provisions of this By-law and the same are hereby repealed or rescinded insofar as it is necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law.
ENACTED AND PASSED this 12th day of July, 2010.
