About the Committee of Adjustment

The Committee of Adjustment is an independent quasi judicial administrative tribunal appointed by Council under authority granted by the Province through the Planning Act. The committee hears applications under Section 45, 53 & 57 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990 c.P13, as amended. The purpose of this committee is to consider minor variances to the Town's zoning by-law and grant consent approval for the severance of land. The Committee consists of five (5) members of the public:

James Allin, Member  
David Finbow, Member  
John Sled, Member  

The Committee meets every three weeks in Council Chambers.

The Secretary Treasurer, Kandas Bondarchuk is available most days at our counter at 105 Hurontario Street between the hours of 8:30 – 4:30 p.m.
